Member Benefits & Services

BAEC members become part of the "Team of
Professionals" working together for the industry.
They form a camaraderie which enables even
competitors to learn from each other.

Monthly Newsletters: "On the Level" (BAEC),
Indiana Builders Association (IBA), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Advertising space is available in each publication.

BAEC Room Use: Members may use the meeting
room and kitchen at the association office at no
charge during the workday-up to twice a month
if the space is not in use. A minimal fee is assessed for weekday evenings and weekends.

BAEC Information Rack: Brochure display space
is available at the BAEC office to advertise member products and services.

General Membership Meetings (GMM): GMM's
are held once a month-a great way to network with fellow association members. We arrange luncheons and dinner GMM's. Our February meeting is devoted to our "Table Top Night" event highlighting associate members' products and services. Guests are always welcome to all GMM's. Members pay for meals when they attend a GMM.

Useful member contact information updated yearly. Advertising space is available in this yearly publication.

Parade of Homes Plus Remodelers Showcase:
A week long event promoting new housing
construction, neighborhoods and remodeling
projects. The event campaign offers various media advertising with great exposure.

Golf Outing: An event in lieu of a September GMM. Open to members, employees and their guests.

Associates Council: A group of members whose
goal is to provide structure and support that benefits open communication and association participation between all members.

Remodelers Council (BAECR): A group of
members dedicated to the remodeling industry.
The BAECR is the presiding council that oversees the Home Improvement Show Plus held in February.

Women's Council: Member spouses and any
female members of the BAEC make up this Council. A primary activity of the Council is to raise funds through BAEC sponsored events to provide scholarships to member/family students.
Home Improvement Show Plus: An event that
gives members first opportunity for booth space to display and promote their products and services. This event is open to the public. It is held in February usually at the RVMH Hall of Fame.

Educational Seminars: A series of programs
addressing specific issues that affect the
membership, sponsored by member firms in the
association. Free to members and their employees.

Indiana Builders Association (IBA): All member
firms are members of the state association.
IBA promotes affordable housing for all Indiana
residents. In addition to providing political and
regulatory support, IBA sponsors an annual
Midwest Builders Convention. IBA also promotes
the Graduate Builders Institute (GBI) and Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) series of educational
programs.

National Association of Homes Builders (NAHB):
All member firms are members of the NAHB.
Educational benefits, political involvement, an
annual convention, and access to relevant
information to the construction industry are some
of the benefits of membership. The NAHB is listed as the 3rd largest lobbying group in the United States.
